Appropriate measurements on a construction site are usually performed by using physical and land surveying technologies. Increasingly growing applications of the mentioned methods takes often the form of an integrated structural health monitoring \(SHM\) of examined constructions. Contemporary surveying instruments regularly use the solutions of modern physics, especially lasers, which significantly improves the measurement process. Modern instrumental readout systems make it possible to significantly increase the accuracy of distance measurements making them reliable and fast. Thanks to these solutions, it is possible to collect the data from inaccessible spatial elements which results in the possibility of building efficient SHM systems.
