The structure of the old bridge from 1967 was described, it was a steelconcrete composite bridge made of B\-6 type castellated beams. Support areas of the abutments have been rebuilt and old steel bearings were replaced by new elastomeric ones. During the reconstruction of Muchoborski Bridge the traffic was carried by detours. In order to ensure undisturbed pedestrian and bicycle traffic and short route for ambulances while the bridge was closed, a new truss footbridge had been built nearby.
