The first part compares the construction of photovoltaic mono and bifacial cells, and the structures of two types of bifacial cells are cited. Moreover, the indicator of additional energy yield and index expressing the ratio of the power of the back part to the front bifacial PV module were determined. In the second part of the work, the influence of various installation parameters on the value of additional energy yield from a PV installation made on the basis of photovoltaic bifacial cells was analyzed. The analysis was based on the results of the abovementioned scientific studies conducted in the world over the past few years. The existing model of three variables was also discussed, allowing to estimate the size of the abovementioned yield."]
