The research team undertook the development of a research methodology based on a photogrammetric method that allows for determining the adhesion of asphalt to mineral aggregates without the need to use a visual assessment burdened with the subjective impressions of the observer. The scope of the work included the construction of a test stand for making photographic images of samples of aggregate covered with bitumen, preparation of aggregate samples with a known degree of asphalt binder covering and assessment of the asphalt binder covering aggregate grains using the GIMP program, thanks to which it was possible to verify this method. Next, the adhesion of asphalt binder to mineral aggregates was evaluated using the methods described in the standards\: Polish PN\-84\/B\-06714\/22 \(Polish\) and PN\-EN 12697\-11\: 2012 \(European\), which was a practical application of the method described in the paper. It was shown that the photogrammetric method allows to more accurately determining the degree of mineral aggregate coverage with asphalt binder than the visual assessment applied so far."]
