Szukana fraza: [Abstrakt = "The Mikołaj Kopernik bridge in Lidzbark Warmiński was built in 1909 in a new at that time reinforced concrete technology. On the west side of the bridge a sculpture of Mikołaj Kopernik was placed. In 1939 it was decided to remove the sculpture, as this loading was said to have caused cracing of the structure. The bridge is located in Plac Kościelny Street in Lidzbark Warmiński over the Łyna River. It is used at present as a footbridge. The bearing structure is a domed arch. The theoretical span is 17,0m and total length 30,75m. In order to determine the cause of cracing and the required range of repair, including replacing the historic sculpture, a static analysis of chosen parameters was carried out. Because of a lack of information concerning the method of building the bridge, 3 diffrent possibilities were analysed. It was stated that the basic cause of the cracking was the load of the sculpture. The analysis proved that despite of a lack of connectors between the domed arch and the frontal walls, cooperation of these parts occures. This causes high internal forced, which were probably not concidered by the designer of the bridge."]
