Szukana fraza: [Abstrakt = "The Light Substitute Ramp \(LSR\) is the original proposal for improvement of accessibility of public space for the disabled. The concept of the ramp and its expansion in the form of a Stair Substitute Ramp \(SSR\) was developed and tested under the process of preparation of doctoral dissertation of Mr. K. Kaperczak defended in 2017 at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the UTP University of Science and Technology in Bydgoszcz. The article discusses construction of a test stand and presents the results of tests of the LSR ramp which confirmed the possibility of modifying the parameters of the ramp in relation to the requirements specified in the regulations applicable in Poland. Despite the fact that grade\-separated crossings in the city centres are more and more often replaced by crossings at the roadway level, in many places pedestrian bridges, flyovers and tunnels are and will still be constructed. Their great advantage is the possibility to separate a pedestrian from the direct contact with vehicular traffic. However, they force people to overcome differences in height. For many this is a huge difficulty, while for others it may be an insuperable barrier. The applicable “corset” of technical regulations should be modified according to needs and capacities of both users and administrators of civil engineering structures — the presented test results may facilitate that task."]
