Examples of such events were presented. Reasons of the marginalization of this type of track defects were recognized. Recommendations established by technical norms concerning the similar situation were overviewed. The problem was analyzed from the geometrical perspective. A method of investigations was proposed including a way of results analysis allowing a quantification of the issue.
